Zribi et al. (2014) reported a reasonable agreement between the moistures estimates and in situ measurements acquired over the 3 year period from 2009 to 2011 at the Kairouan plain in central Tunisia using Theta probes, with r 2 value of 0.49 and RMSE value of 0.13 (approximately 3.5% as volumetric moisture).
